A story like this asks for restraint, care and emotional precision in the edit. Short description A story of loss, strength and the long road back. This awareness campaign tells Lotte’s deeply moving story after a tragic accident in the south of France, where a drunk driver changed her life forever and took away her boyfriend Willem. Together with her parents and best friend, Lotte shares what that loss has meant, how her life was reshaped, and how she slowly had to find a way forward. In the edit, the challenge was to stay close to the truth without ever becoming sensational. The film needed to be emotionally strong, but also respectful, honest and careful.
