A story of loss, strength and the long road back. This awareness campaign tells Lotte’s deeply moving story after a tragic accident in the south of France, where a drunk driver changed her life forever and took away her boyfriend Willem. Together with her parents and best friend, Lotte shares what that loss has meant, how her life was reshaped, and how she slowly had to find a way forward. What I loved about editing this piece was handling her story with the care and respect it deserved - avoiding sensation, staying close to the truth, and shaping the film in a way that could leave a strong and lasting impact on young viewers.
